MENTAL STRENGTH ASSESSMENT

There are two sides to every player, program, team member, employee, staff:

  1. The physical side
  2. The mental side.

The physical side includes skill level, conditioning and objective performance. The mental side is equally important. We MUST learn to handle adversity, frustration and the ever present "inner voice". The VAST majority of athletes only work on their physical development, essentially making them HALF as competitive as they could be.  For example, when a player makes a mistake or two, they often become hesitant which invariably leads to more mistakes.

THIS IS NOT A TEST but rather an assessment of how and why players think the way they do.  There are NO right or wrong answers, there is no score.  Honesty is required and will be a springboard to improving how they think in competition.  In particular, be as descriptive as you can in the COMMENTS section.
